2016 Taiwan Migrants Video Awards
◆ Eligibility:
Migrant
workers, international students, and new immigrants that are currently residing
or have resided in Taiwan. Participants from Southeastern countries are
especially welcome.
◆ Event
1.
Acceptance of submissions started on April 24, 2016 and the deadline is 23:59
on June 26, 2016. Upload the video to YouTube, and then fill out the online
registration form (http://goo.gl/forms/5v2YJ6ueoE) or paper
registration form and send it to 1955yes@gmail.com.
2. There are two video categories:
A. Micro Video:
5 to 15 minutes of video
B. Reports: 3
to 10 minutes of video.
Att. Film makers’ native language shall be the primary
language of the film.
Each person is only allowed to participate on one short
video.
3. Each participant can submit more
than one video, but if the participant's videos win the awards, only the video
with the highest award will be selected.
4. Winners are selected by the
review panel for their originality, creativity, filming style, etc.
5. Winners will be announced during
the award ceremony.

A. Microfilms
Top Prize: NT$ 15,000, a trophy, and a certificate of achievement.
Second Prize: NT$ 10,000, a trophy, and a certificate of achievement.
Three Honorable Mentions: NT$ 2,000,
a trophy, and a
certificate of achievement.
B. Reports
Top Prize: NT$ 10000, a trophy, and a certificate of achievement.
Second Prize: NT$ 5000, a trophy, and a certificate of achievement.
Three Honorable Mentions: NT$ 2,000,
a trophy, and a
certificate of achievement.
Special Prize
Most Popular Online: NT$ 5000, a
trophy, and a
certificate of achievement.
◆ Remarks
1. All films that enter the competition shall not include
plagiarism, use false identity, or infringe copyrights. Violators will be
disqualified and awarded prizes and certificates of achievement will be
recovered. Violators will also take full legal responsibility.
2. Videos shall not contain pornographic, racially
discriminatory, and violent content, and must comply to the laws of Taiwan.
3. If a film does not meet the required standards after
review, the awards will be withheld.
4. Participating films enjoy moral and economic rights, and
the event organizer is authorized to promote, reproduce, publish, and issue the
film in any form, channel, and at any time without additional remunerations and
royalties.
5. The participants are considered to have agreed to the
regulations of the event; regulations may be amended at any time if there are
matters not governed by the said regulations.
